AHA Annual Conference in San Diego
We will also be at the American Humanist Association’s annual conference in San Diego, CA (May 30 – June 2), providing child care and activities throughout the weekend.
What to Expect
Weather permitting, each of our events have inside and outside components including an opportunity for kids to play games, learn about science and Humanism, and make some new friends.
Parents will learn about Camp Quest West — our focus on safety and how we mix traditional outside camp with science and Humanism. They’ll also have a chance to meet some of our past and future counselors, and other families that are considering sending their children.
For supporters interested in furthering Camp Quest West, we’ll be talking about our donation-based campership program, our capital campaign, and our plans for the future. We’ll also be happy to share our Business Plan and budget with anyone who is interested.
Try to arrive between 1:30 and 1:45 for a meet-and-greet with other families and our counselors. Then at 2:00, we have special activities planned for everyone to enjoy! We expect the entire program to wrap up at 3:30 PM.
Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
We’re looking for a few volunteers at each location, so contact us if you’re interested in helping out and be there at 12:15 PM ready to be put to work!
